Antique Object: Blue & White

Many hearts begin to pitter-patter when blue and white makes an appearance. It is one of those things that some adore and others feel so-so about. I don’t think anyone truly dislikes blue and white—or maybe I just don’t want to admit it is possible. Phoebe Howard, whom I work for, always seems to uncover a stash of blue and white gems every time she goes buying in Europe, which we then sell in our stores. Reproduction blue and white might seem lovely until you see the good stuff. There is just no comparison. The coloring, the patina, the texture—Not every pocketbook can handle the price tag, but it is worth saving your pennies (or waiting for a special anniversary) to add one of these beauties to your collection. Singles, pairs, entire collections. You cannot go wrong. This will be an heirloom your family will cherish for years to come.
