The 2015 Art and Antiques Show begins this Thursday, December 3 and promises a fun-filled weekend celebrating the heritage and culture of Spain. In addition to the more than 45 art and antiques dealers who will fill the Prime F. Osborn III Convention Center for the weekend, there are plenty of special events and activities that promise fun for everyone. We hope you’ll join us as we celebrate, shop, eat and learn, and most importantly, help us support the life-saving work of Wolfson Children’s Hospital.
Celebrate. Join us on Friday, December 4 at the Opening Night Party for this year’s Art and Antiques Show. Celebrating the passion and energy of Spain, expect a night of fabulous food, live music, and plenty of fun. We hope you’ll join us for this special evening. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit our website or call 904.202.2886.
Shop. This year, we are pleased to have more than 45 distinguished art and antiques dealers from across America join us for the show. Browse for the perfect piece of art, or gorgeous antique silver, linen, rugs, furniture and more for your home. For our “Young Collectors,” don’t forget to stop by the Young Collector’s Booth to shop for specially curated pieces at a price point aimed to help younger patrons begin a treasured collection. Finally, take home some of the heritage and culture of Spain when you shop at our Decorations Resale booth. Items are available for purchase throughout the weekend, and 100% of your purchase from the Decorations Resale booth goes directly to the total donated to Wolfson Children’s Hospital.
Eat. Need a break from browsing the booths? Join us for lunch or pick up a snack from our Tea Room or Pastry Café!
Learn. We are proud to welcome six outstanding guest speakers and lecturers throughout the course of the weekend: Alexa Von Tobel, Alexa Hampton, Juli Catlin & William Nash, Richard Keith Langham, Barbara Westbrook, and Dr. J. Michael Francis. Don’t forget to stick around after the lectures to purchase signed copies of the speakers’ books from the Book Nook!
Support. The heart of the weekend is the Children’s Fashion Show. Featuring 30 current and former patients of Wolfson Children’s Hospital, the show is a wonderful reminder of why we host the Art and Antiques Show. Wolfson Children’s Hospital provides outstanding care to more than 80,000 children from across the region each year, regardless of ability to pay. Proceeds from the Art and Antiques Show go toward a $4 million pledge by the Women’s Board to create a Pediatric Surgery Center of Distinction at Wolfson Children’s Hospital. We hope you will join us for this year’s Children’s Fashion Show as we close the weekend and celebrate the lives of of our special models.
We hope you will join us for this year’s 39th Annual Art and Antiques Show. For more information, visit our website or call 904.202.2886.
