The Women’s Board of Wolfson Children’s Hospital is excited to announce the dates for its 40th Anniversary Art & Antiques Show, December 2-4, 2016.
Goldie Hawn is the featured lecturer at the 2016 Art & Antiques Show. Ms. Hawn is an Academy Award winning actress, producer, director, best-selling author and children’s advocate. She is the founder of The Hawn Foundation, a public charity with a mission to equip children with the social and emotional skills they need to lead smarter, healthier, and happier lives.
Over 40 art and antiques dealers from across the country and Europe come together for 3 days and nights of exciting events at one of the South’s largest art and antiques shows. This year’s Show celebrates 40 years of helping raise community awareness of Wolfson’s unique hospital and fund state-of-the-art services, programs, equipment and facilities. Wolfson and The Women’s Board aim to provide the best healthcare for all children in the Northeast Florida/Southeast Georgia region and well beyond.
Additional guest lecturers for 2016 include high-end interior designer Melanie Turner, and Editor-in-Chief of Flower magazine Margot Shaw. Also featured are local designer Juli Catlin and antiques expert William Nash.
The traditions that add to the vibrancy of the event continue with the Opening Night Party on Friday evening featuring The RiverTown Band, and the Children’s Fashion Show, which stars current and former patients of Wolfson Children’s Hospital. Recording star and former Wolfson patient Rion Paige will perform once again.
